Please share these documents with any staff involved in PALS delivery and let us know if you have any questions. Please note that we have officially changed the procedures so that only libraries that get three or more days a week of delivery need to worry about any pre-sorting for PALS. And, a big thank you to those libraries that follow our delivery procedures / pre-sorting instructions carefully. It is a huge help to our staff. In the year that ended June 30, 2010, PALS carried more than 7 million items on our deliveries! Also, we'd like to remind you that we do maintain email mailing lists for each delivery route. We use the mailing list to inform libraries of any route delays or cancellations. If any additional staff at your library would like to be subscribed to this mailing list, they can contact me and I'd be glad to add them.
